I have been a bit frustrated at the lack of canon art from the SW universe, especially on characters like Darth Plagues and Abeloth. It seems that only recently has there been real official designs and images of figures from the Yuzong Vong invasion and that was some time ago. So, I decided to create some of my own interpretations of the less displayed figures until some official canon ones do appear. Here are my renditions of Darth Plagues (I did these some time ago) And more recently the "Ableloth" celestial from the Fate of the Jedi books.
Thanks, I think that this Abeloth being is probably one of the most demonic looking figures in the Star Wars Universe. In fact, she has some very demon like powers, as in actually possessing people. I wonder if the plan was to give a more horror spin on this villain than normal. Still, I think she's a fresh new concept as a SW enemy.
(I read all the books with Abeloth, but can't pin-point where they say she's "12" times stronger in the force than Luke. ...Where is that?)
I agree. I think if the lips were fixed up a bit (not that gigantic) and made tinier and somehow more sinister, this would be a nice illustration of Abeloth!

I was looking for a "canon" image of Abeloth to work from, but no matter how I tried, I couldn't find one. I suppose there is one somewhere. I'm just looking in the wrong places.
Darth Plagueis only has one or two official canon images, too. I found this bizarre, since he is really an important and popular figure, even mentioned in Revenge of the Sith.
On another note - about Darth Plagueis - if Sidious was really prejudice against alien races (as they contend in quite a few books) why is his master an alien? Doesn't make sense to me.
