Mistakes Vader made in his first encounter with Kenobi

>Decides to confront Kenobi after choking Padme and getting into a disorienting mind-frame
>Wastes shitloads of energy right off the bat, without giving his defense much attention at all
>Exhausts so much more energy than Kenobi that, despite his greater power, he's now tied in Force push - yet still decides to chase his master around not as aware of his surroundings
>Decides to leap far enough to leave himself open for a good amount of time

Kit Fisto could have won that fight. Vader just wasn't being practical. He wasn't in any state to confront his master, he should have counted his numerous blessings, miraculous saves, and left Kenobi on that hill and returned to tend to Padme as the Emperor escorted him to Coruscant for further instruction and training in the dark arts.

Good game Vader.

Yet even as a cyborg Sidious admits Vader could have surpassed him by about as much of a margin as Luke could have. Vader was a monstrosity of power, from birth till death. He could have wasted Luke both on Bespin and at the battle of Endor's moon. A magazine straight out claims a seasoned Vader would be nearly rivaling Yoda in TK - TFU II confirms that he's still on a slightly greater tier than the original Starkiller - rivaling Starkiller II - in terms of TK alone...Jesus.

The Father deemed Anakin powerful enough to keep both his children in check and be immortal to boot. Sidious sensed the boy's power to be "far greater than his own" after killing Plagueis, states he'd be stronger than either Yoda or himself in ROTS. Yoda doesn't think as much of even Luke Skywalker as he did of Anakin, everyone noting his powers in AoTC, Yoda himself boasting of the Jedi's powers as of ESB not saying much about Luke himself. Even being deprived of much of the knowledge, being held back by Kenobi throughout his training as a Padawan, with little experience, he does better against Dooku than Kenobi himself. He even claims he's ahead of Kenobi. He's the only character in the mythos to have been created by the midi-chlorians themselves.

Where "sanity" previously suggested acquiescence with cultural codes, the addition of "super" implies that this common "sanity" has been replaced by a superior form, in which perception and processing are completely ungoverned and unconstrained"
