I plan on making a respect thread on comic vine, so here's the rough draft:
"Tulak Hord-a mighty Sith Lord with legendary lightsaber skills..."
-SWTOR Encylopedia, page 153
"One of Khem Val's proudest victories came during the Battle of Chabosh, where he fought by Tulak Hord's side to conqueror an army of Jedi 1,000 strong."
-SWTOR Encylopedia, page 186
"Lord of Hate, conqueror of the planets Yn and Chabosh, and master of Sith Sorcey..."
-SWTOR Encylopedia, page 293
"The great Tulak Hord once pulled a ship this size from the sky."
-SWTOR, Khem Val seeing the Endar Spire
(Calculations concerning feat: http://www.narutoforums.com/blog.php?b=19695) (please log in to view the image)
"If you were to face an ancient Sith Lord in combat, you would learn that we are as children playing with toys compared to the prowess of the old masters."
-Knights of the Old Republic 2, Darth Traya
"...the greatest lightsaber duelist of the Sith Lords...remarkable even for his time, when many true lightsaber masters lived."
-Knights of the Old Republic 2, Darth Traya
"Lord of Hate, Master of the Gathering Darkness and Dark Lord of the Sith. These are but a few of the titles worn by the great Tulak Hord. His command of the dark side and mastery of lightsaber techniques won Hord many battles, and each victory earned him enemies abroad and within the Sith ranks. Of the many who challenged his might, none were successful."
-SWTOR Codex Entry
"...In his time as Dark Lord of the Sith, Tulak Hord was known as a master of the mystical dark arts of the Force..."
-SWTOR Codex Entry
"The secrets behind Tulak Hord's great power were many, and they all but vanished from the galaxy with the Dark Lord's death. Generations of Sith have obsessed over unearthing his ancient teachings and artifacts, but Tulak Hord hid them well."
-SWTOR Codex Entry

His era, was the "Old Republic era", which is from 25,000 – 1000 BBY.
Regardless, he is more powerful then some of the people you put on your top ten list in dueling (Sarro [Featless], Nomi Sunrider [Best lightsaber showings if beating pirates], Droma [Needs more feats/accolades]).

"On Yn, the Jedi had laid siege to an Imperial stronghold. Tulak Hord broke the siege single-handedly! And then he pressed forward into Jedi-held Chabosh, leaving nothing but Jedi blood in his wake." - SWTOR, Khem Val.
Yea love the retcon about the Jedi having fought the sith before the GHW and then forgetting about it.

And thus the underlying issue with almost all ancient sith rears its head once again.

UPDATE: I added it to comicvine, and added information on Essence Transfer, Sorcery, and Rituals. (Sorry, I read some fights on this forum about comicvine, but they make it so easy to make a awesome respect thread). http://www.comicvine.com/profile/da...t-thread/97192/

Tulak Hord is an awesome character but they really needed to leave the jedi out of it.
