Should I read Before the Awakening before The Force Awakens?
I'm seeing the movie the 19th. Will reading the Force Awakens Visual Dictionary, the Incredible Cross-sections and Before the Awakening possibly spoil the movie for me?

Don't read too much direct movie info before the movies out.
Read the "Journey to the Force Awakens" novels instead. They set up the Post Jedi Universe giving little hints towards the movie but without any direct spoilers.

I listened to the audiobook for like 45 minutes, and the author's writing has tons of runon sentences for whatever reason

Aftermath was hard to get through. But I managed it.
The small Luke, Leia and Han novels were enjoyable enough. Shattered Empire was fun. On Lost Stars right now.
