Anyway to peg Aluminized Desecris' durability?
Pretty sure you guys know what I'm talking about, referring to this passage:
Vader inhaled, holding the dry and slightly bitter air for as long as his scarred lungs could manage it. When he allowed the breath to be drawn from him by the respirator, he thrust his right hand toward a nearby mirror. The aluminized densecris shattered into a thousand pieces, struck by the dark side as if by a metal fist.
Vader was aware of the "unbreakable" substance splintering and falling, tinkling onto the floor, myriad reflections sparkling in the light as they seemed to move in slow motion.
-- Death Star
So, this material was considered by Imperial scientists to be unbreakable. SW weaponry goes from Kiloton levels with just starfighters to Teratons with capital ships and what-not, plus materials like Phrik surviving the explosion of Alderaan (BTW not saying the Phrik is planet level, reason cause of Inverse square-law) But it's just an example to compare to this material. Is it possible to peg this material in any way?

"Vader's pulse and breathing were machine-regulated, so they could not quicken; but something in his chest became more electric around his meetings with the Emperor; he could not say how. A feeling of fullness, of power, of dark and demon mastery -- of secret lusts, unrestrained passion, wild submission -- all these things were in Vader's heart as he neared his Emperor. These things and more."
