Is there any truth to this rumor? In RoTS, Mace was deep fried and had his hands lopped off. Personally for me it is dumb idea and just a rumor, but with every rumor there is always a small grain of truth

It would be good, because then Palpatine could finish him off properley 1 v 1 this time and end the "Did Palpatine throw the fight" Nonesense.
That said, Mace will never be back. Jedi don't cling to life so unnaturally the way Sith do. And besides, it would make Mace a complete wuss hiding from Palpatine the rest of his life.

So your claim is since the Sith tried to kill him he'd just die because he can't cling to life as it would violate the Sith's intentions.
Yoda even remarked he had once chance to strike at Palpatine but you somehow say Windu is a coward but not apply the same logic to Yoda. Be consistent I tire of your double standards.
If he is, he better appear in a holocron. If he's a live I'm done with starwars... Every character who doesn't get killed by a lightsaber always survives and its bullshit. Might as well bring back Qui-Gon and every single Jedi Vader killed :/

Because death in SW actually means something compared to DC/Marvel, where they just bring back a character after they died and have done it so much, death doesn't even mean anything anymore.
SW pre-TCW, did it all of...what? 1 time with Palpatine, everyone else, when they died...they died.
I'd be really ashamed in SW just starts treating the death of characters as some gimmick thing.
