.. of the events that transpired within the Chancellor’s office the night Order 66 was issued. I guess it would be easy to make it look like the Jedi were trying to do a coup d’etat, but did Palp justify the fact that he killed 4 Jedi masters?
The general public believed that the Jedi went power hungry and tried to assassinate Sidious, so he commissioned order 66 and the reorganization of the Republic into the Empire to protect the galaxy from them.
