Reckon Maul will possibly come back via revival from the Night Sisters and Thrawn? (ive seen some speculation of this on youtube vids etc)
Some say that he may come back to give Luke and Ahsoka a challenege , hence Lucases original plans may come into fruition to a ceratin extent... What do you all reckon ?
^ Yeah true i guess.. but at same time i feel he needed more screen time. Ezra flash backs will be awesome either that or his time on Malachor or sort of near the solo movie etc
Plus we still don't know a lot about him between Order 66 and rebels. I mean, do we actually know how he was stranded on that planet where Kanan finds him?
I know Maul implied that he had been stranded on Malachor for years, but I personally think he was lying. I don't think he had been there all that long.
Yeah, I have a theory that Maul is going to fight Vos sooner or later and their fight might explain why he was stranded there. I think so because we know, as per DD’s early drafts and Sam Witwer’s words in a interview, that Vos and Maul were supposed to fight during the clone wars. At first, the two were to meet in DD, but their duel was eventually cut off. Then Vos was initially written as the protagonist of the Siege of Mandalore arc, with him being the one who captures Maul, but he was replaced by Ahsoka for unspecified reasons.
Still, I think sooner or later the writers are gonna use those drafts and have them fight during the galactic empire era. It even makes sense as Maul is one of the few people who can contend with Vos, besides Vader of course
