Eragon Garrowson was in Ellesmera, discussing terms with other elves. Should they aid the dragons? Aid the humans? Aid anyone at all? They kept up a heated debate.
Gender: Female Location: Somewhere hidden in the shadows.
A pure black shadow sat perched at the edge of a narrow cliff. She watched below as cattle and sheep grazed in the huge open feilds of the small village. The sun was setting and the sky was painted blue and magenta.

blueclaw extended his wings, preparing for flight..with a woosh, he was off the ground, and flapping gently..flying, blueclaws favourite occupation..it allowed his mind to wander, while many years of skill did the flying for him, unless he was doing stunts in the caves, where full attention was required if a dragon wanted to survive..one question plagued his mind..should the dragons lend a hand..he had not found an answer yet..(man, thats gotta be one of the longest intros ive ever written, but im too stuffed to pretend im lazy..)
Osthato Chetowa glided his way towards the largest mountain range located on this continent. Legends began forming and molding since the lost of both a sage and one of the most beautiful castles. There were countless forms of the same story, but they followed one general outline: Several years before this war, there was a very ambitious man who sought the gift of immortality. In his search he stole a dragons egg. What he didn't know was the egg that he stole was from one from the queen dragons of that one particular tribe. In pure righteousness and justice, she fused him to the egg. However, to make sure he neither enjoyed nor benefited from the gift, she made him neither welcome in the worlds of dragon or of man. This was done with a powerful aurora that makes the weak minded wild with rage. To this day, he lives alone...
Coji was flying solemly, a look of contempt on his face. He had just outrun some of the fastest dragons in a race, and he was heading for the finish line. After around two leagues, he could see it. He glanced behind him, and the older dragons were gaining speed. He was in a glide right now, and going fairly fast, but in one roar and a beat of his wings, he was going faster than most dragons could his age. He smiled and got a bit cocky, his biggest mistake, and did a few barrel rolls for the crowd. As he did so, a blue dragon overtook him, and corssed right before he did. The crowd went cheering and hoisted the dragon up off its haunches and carried it off. Coji shook his head, he couldnt beleive it! He let his cockiness ruin his chance at glory, and pass into adult-hood. Alas, he now had to endure something much harder than a mere race, a quest was now considered of him.
Osthato Chetowa was reaching his nest, the peak of the tallest mountain, when he was intercepted by a group of hunter dragons. Hunter dragons were dragons of black and red toned scales that hunted by mentally paralyzing there prey and swooping him while they were physically disabled. Osthato Chetowa, twice the size of any normal dragon and atleast 4 times the size of these petit ones, decided that a roar should be enough to scare this group. He bellowed such a cry that the mountains below him shook to there foundations. But this group didn't stop and continued baring there teeth towards him, arrogant adolescenants.
He folded his wings and dove into the group. When he was close enough, but to quick for any of them to react, he snatched one out of their ranks with his mouth. Opening his wings at the last moment, he swooshed and slammed the dragon into the side of the mountain killing him on impact. Clawing his way through, he lunged using the mountain as support once again towards the group. After but a few moments of what seemed to Osthato Chetowa as nothing but an annoyance, was finally over. Reason had finally gripped the remaining three dragon, and they retreated with great speed. Osthato Chetowa, seeing not to waste the 6 corpses, grabbed two in each hand and carried them up to his peak to be devoured later.
The force of the tremor shook Coji to his core. He looked out to the direction of the mountain, and noticed what looked to be a small white speck, heading for the summit. He shrugged, but flew off to check it out, roaring in a call to it.
What seemed like a high sqeal in his general direction proved to be what Osthato Chetowa knew to be a curious dragon. To his displeasure he was right. He quickened his pace and reached his mountain submit, dropping off his dinner and diving towards the dragon. Before he was even in sight of the other dragon, he bellowed again. Although this wasn't as powerful as the first, it was one of aggression and hostility. Let's hope this one get's the message, he thought. When he descended from the clouds that engulfed the tall mountains, he could see the dragon clearly. Although he was larger than the dragon hunters, he was still minute comapared to Osthato Chetowa.
Coji knew the dragon wouldn't harm him. It wasnt thier way. But he slowed down and flapped his wings, spinning and showing a flash of his underside, meaning no harm. He slowed his pace even more and continued to approach. He noted the outline of the fabled dragon. Osthato Chetowa was his name. He smiled and approached slowly.
Atticus trembled. Her whole body seethed with disgust, and vomit tasted in her mouth. Her blood stained hands shook as she bent down to the creek to cleanse them. She hated the killing, the pain. She hated using her ability to slay these creatures, even if they were killing her race. " No..be strong " she growled at herself, standing. About a mile behind her were the reamains of a young green dragon. To young.
This ws her typical routine scince the war had starterd. Kill, and cry. But it was what had to be done. Over to the westerly mountains two dragons sounded. Atticus made her way over carefully.
Osthato Chetowa growled once again moving his head side to side, I said away, little one! he roared. He flapped his wings harder and harder causing a massive turbulence. Be gone with you!, and he flapped his wings simultaneously causing a curt and painful whip of wind to slam Coji against one of the mountain sides. Satisfied that his message was made clear, he turned away and flew back up to his nest; disappearing into the thick grey clouds.
" Nngh.." An impact wave from the slamming of the mountain threw Atticus off of her feet, but she trudged on. " Enjoy your last few hours. " she said to the dragon who had been slammed aside.
Ivory slammed into the mountain side. Hard. It made a trembling sound, and a large crack could be heard. It was sent up the side of the small mountain, and Coji fell to the ground. He coughed and slid off, unable to stand.

*Berethin stood ontop of a hill, seeing dark shapes in the distance. He knew what they were. Dragons. If he took one step forward, he was vulnerable to them and would be ripped to shreds if he got too close. He knew about the war between the dragons and the humans. He also knew about the giants joining in on the fighting. He took the step forward. He was one step farther away from home he had ever been, though he was still inside the empire border.*

She sat to take a short rest. She had been going up the mountain for quite a while now, and she was wonr out. She also had to be wary of the deep crack.

*Berethin looked at the mountain ahead of him. There was a crack that appeared and something that sounded like thunder overhead. A dragon had crashed into the mountainside, and the other dragons had started to stirr about it, though they had not noticed him yet*

Osthato Chetowa broke free from the cloud layer and saw the peak of his mountain nest. And there laid the pile of dragons he had slayed. Once landing he trotted over to his nest, and slumped down into his bed of woven feathers, wool, and fur. Using his long tail, he dragged one of the bodies over and began consuming the body. One by one he ate what would be any dragon's fill, but not his. It was a part of his punishment: eternal life and hunger; neither a home amongst the living and the dead; chaos where all life is lead. A life for one as greedy as him. He recited these word over and over and over, until the night took him and he slept under the rising moon.
