Hey guys. Yes, that is the official title of Bond 22, which was revealed by producers at a press conference held at Pinewood Studios earlier today. It is apparently the name of one of the short stories published by Ian Fleming in 1960 (which makes a great deal of sense, as I somehow can't imagine the producers coming up with this title themselves; they tend to lean more towards grandiose titles containing the word "die" ).
Tbh ... I don't really know what to think of the new title ; for some reason, it just doesn't really "click" with me. But, since it is the title of one of Fleming's novels, I guess I can accept it; presumably, therefore, the plot of the film will be at least partly based on some of the events in the book (not that I've ever read it)?
I like the title. Though i think alot of people may have trouble saying it at the box office, "2 tickets for the new James Bond movie."
I really don't have a problem with the title was as long as the film is good, in the style of CR. The farther thet get away from the Brosnon disasters the better.
I totally agree on the title and I can't wait to see the new Bond movie as I loved Casino Royale. I think I remember hearing a while back that this is a trilogy with the curent actor but I'm not exactly sure. Whatever the case is I am very pleased that he is the new Bond and I'm glad they are making the character more complex than the previous garbage that I never gave a second look at.
/high five other Bond fanatics
