if you absolutley loved LTK and TLD.

My favourite bond, he was un-conventional and MOST like the Bond my mind painted a picture of from the books.

But as Christopher lee said once

"I don't think james bond has ever been brought to the screen exactly as fleming described him. There have been elements of flemings character in all the actors who have played bond. Pierce is probably the closest."

I always wished that Dalton had continued to do the role.He wasnt great in the role but definetely better than Brosnan.

I never said ANYTHING like that. You got me confused with someone else.Just read my first post on my Sean Connery thread.I clearly stated there that NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN is my favorite Sean Connery Bond film.Which at that time, it was since I was only going by memory.

I recently rewatched them all again and the only change I have made since then is I forgot how awesome YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE is and thats the only Bond movie I like better than NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN so you obviously got me confused with someone else.I stated the same thing that Darth Martin said recently on that thread which is DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER is the only Connery Bond movie thats not a great flick.Thats the only one that I feel doesnt measure up to the greatness of the other Connery Bond films.

You must be thinking of SithSaber, cause I just looked at my thread again and HE called it shit.I never said anything bad about that movie though.Yeah you got me mixed up with him. big grin

sorry 'bout that, names and thinking aren't my strong point

have to agree with diamonds are forever, that one was lousy and connery's hair was a mess... think the best one is Goldfinger or From Russia With Love.

but on the topic: Dalton's movie were both good: licence to kill is dark so love it, living daylights is the lesser but still good enough

I like From Russia With Love more then goldfinger and no offence it is a good movie and all but its overrated with how much talk it gets and the hype surrounding

And going back to the dalton talk, I've read almost all the bond books from fleming and dalton is the closest to the character imo and also even the new bond himself daniel craig is almost like him.

Dalton was definitely the closest out of all the ones before Craig.

Also, Dalton is still my favourite Bond out of the lot, with Craig coming second. Brosnan was so so, Moore was rubbish for the most part and Connery was fab smile

Enjoyed Dalton's Bond movies. smile Goooooo Dalton.
