OK, I'm having a tough time trying to find decent games. The matchmaking option is an absolute joke, it takes too long. I don't have time to sit for ten minutes waiting for the game to load up a match that only lasts 5.
I'd rather find XBox Live gamers on here and add them. We don't have to be a "clan" - just people on the friends list. If it progresses into a clan, then fine, but as of right now, I'd rather try and find good solid gamers up for a good game of Halo 2. Sounds good?
Add me to your friends list-

*everyone post their Gamertag if they want to be in*
I'm already in a clan, but if you just wanna play online my gamertag is cal31. I found it really hard to get into games at the beginning, but what I did was whenever I played a match, after it was over, I just sent friend requests to most of the people that also played in the match. Just so you can add a lot of people that you know will be online so you can just join their game instead of having to do matchmaking. That's my suggestion atleast.
pff I dont have a microphone
I ran over my teammates with my wraith tank cuz they were just standing there not moving and it was a narrow bridge.. so Just pressed turbo and went on my merry way lol
I'd like the term "Play together for fun" instead of clan.. clan has this menacing feel of responsibility to it >_>
Yeah, I don't like the word "clan" either, but Halo 2 has a habit of shoving the diea down our throats it seems.
I don't like proper clanning. "Proper" clans get stuck up their own asses and become the bane of online society. There are the odd ones who are cool though.

I have to drill a hole in my wall and run the line from the back of my computer room to my big TV first, but then I'll have X-box Live up and running again. Apparently having a 75ft. ethernet cable sprawled out across your living room floor is considered "tacky"
There's good and bad things about it. For one, if you're a good player and are ranked high, you don't have to worry about playing with the n00bs who team kill and don't know what the hell they're doing. Also if you care about being ranked it is also a very good system. The bad things are you don't have as much freedom to choose what type of game you are playing and it takes along time to get into a game. But Bungie said they are currently working on releasing more search options such as All Slayer, or All CTF, or All Team Slayer, and they also said they are working on fixing how long it takes to join the matches. So it sounds like they are working pretty hard to fix it. I mean if you love Halo, I don't know how you can say Halo 2 on live isn't worth it, you still are playing it online, and just because you don't like the way it is set up before you actually play should'nt ruin it.
Hmmm.... personally I wish they had ditched that whole floating jump BS, because it just winds up getting people killed, that and the fact that I have to actually melee people 3 and 4 times before they friggin die.. I mean gimme a break. Also, sometimes even melee'ing them in the back of the head doesnt kill em in one hit.. I dont know if its lag or they decided "Hey lets screw the people who played Halo1 over! ahahaha!" but it really sux
As for XBL.. I think they still need to tweak a few weapons (or at least heavily tweak the networking..). In one match this guy was going to get me with the sword.. he didnt even get near me, but he lifted his arm up and I died.. I was like
