The graphics aren't good, as you said, and it is more gang based;
But its got much more features such as more vehicles, and it has more reality, and also, the place is very much bigger. rolling on floor laughing

It's OUT for the PC & XBox, and there's enough San Andreas threads.

It's out for the PC?

One question: can you make custom radio stations?

So, is it any good? I have the PS2 version, and the things I noticed that REALLY could do with improvemnet are:

- Appaling traffic AI. No matter how much you honk your horn, or CLEARLY have right of way, cars just follow their pre-determined path at very glitchy speeds. It is so annoying when no-one in San Andreas obeys simple give-way laws and just ruins you car for no good reason. It's EVEN WORSE when the cops do it. Why do cops suddenly turn around 180 degrees on a single stretch of road when you are around?

- Streaming priority of objects while in planes. This is one of the biggest gripes I had about the lack of loading times, and at times I felt the game would have been better off by loading entire sections of the city with little loading pauses, rather than streaming off the disc. Streaming off the disc like in SA may elimate loading times, but the pop up is made ten times worse. Trees load-in out of nowhere. The faster you go, the more of a problem it is due to the game trying to "catch up". You hit invisible walls in fast cars, and worse, fly into invisible trees and die, only for them to load-in after you have blown up. Scenery takes a while to load-in, sometimes displaying see through roads and blurry textures - this combined with the poor traffic AI makes the road races an absolute chore.

- Dissapearring cars from garages. You make a car, it looks awesome, and it cost a lot to make. You put it in the garage, and when you come back, sometimes it's there, sometimes it isn't. Sometimes, it's just white and your paintwork is gone. Took all the fun out of car modding when after a while, it was pretty clear you could only have a couple of cars saved without overwriting the ones stored in another garage on the other side of San Andreas.

- Framerate. Sometimes the frame-rate would just BOMB. Due to the crappy traffic AI, cars would just plough into each other, causing a physics/geometry overload and bring the FPS down to like 5.
Have any of these things been fixed?

OH, fair do's.

You'd think they would have fixed some of those gameplay issues though for the new releases.
