Its pretty sweet, but its alot like the other versions.
Maybe, its just going to be alot more crazy, but the expasion pack near the end, got pretty repetitive.
I didnt say that being a rip-off is a bad thing, because the original Call of Duty was fantastic.
But there's a couple of things that so similiar from the first one.
1) The long starting sequence, entirely scripted, with planes of course
2) Very linear path (but Cal is right, its only one level, so Im probalby be wrong.
3)Germans always jumping over fences ( come on, you know its true)
4) Same mission structure.
5) The game tries to make you feel like your part of an army, but really your still the hero type thats responsible for winning the war.
Then again, its one mission.
The upgraded graphics, grenade indicator, no health meter are actually really cool additions to the gameplay.
But hopefully this game doesnt turn out the same as before, on where I personally got bored near the end of the Russian levels. I just hope they have kick ass levels throughtout the whole game, and not one kick ass level, 3 corridor/rail shooting levels.

indeed, I just love all the weapons and tanks, and all its so intrested, I have just been reading about the the massive karl mortar that the germans used in russia, now this thing was a monster! it had a 600mm kanon! CRAZY the heavy tanks had a 88mm to 150mm and you know how much the shell weight? 1.4ton!!!, this was all devastating!, and only 6 where ever made.
I hated the Russian levels.
The first couple from both games were amazing because it was the whole army fighting against the germans with planes, tanks and all that jazz.
But the middle and end of the missions got really boring because it was just you fighting down corridors are sewers. Then of course, the tank missions which sucked.
I bought it today, and it's very impressive.
Graphics are stunning, and the sound is equally as good.
It's very similiar to the old one though.
The grenade indicator is pretty cool.
The missions are better than the first, but are basically the same. The British levels are the only ones with some sort of branching level design.
But all in all, its better than the first, but the same.
Alright, in Call of Duty 2 for the xbox 360 (which I just purchased and is a great game) it says that it supports custon soundtracks, it seems weird because none of the racing games have that. For Call of Duty 2, would you just be listening to the songs while your shooting Nazis or how would it work? And I also see nothing in the options screen that say anything about it, I'm sooooo confused
