KMC Forums - Project Awakened

Project Awakened is a game being worked on by Phosphor Games, a local game studio that's made up mostly of former Midway employees (most of the ones that didn't go to NetherRealm made Phosphor). This is a project that they've been wanting to do since back when they were Midway, but never got off the ground before the studio closed

It's a sort of open world game where you can create your own character - not quite an MMO, but similar to City of Heroes with more of an action-adventure side. They also intend to make the game very mod-friendly, so players can mod things to their heart's content.

They've made a kickstarter to help fund the game, since publishers are always wary of new IPs, and hence they're turning to the community to help fund this so they can self-publish. I want to see it succeed, for a number of reasons. It looks really cool, and is a rare bit of something new. Also, I know Phosphor and several of the people who work there.
