Back in the days when a small team (or even one person) could knock out games in a couple of months easily (and it was considered weird for sequels to take more than a year), there was a constant stream of tie-in crap like this.
They did one for Minder that, aside from the offensive music, wasn't actually bad, because they made it a buy low/sell high game, which actually works in a gameplay sense.
