By Yuki-sensei's hardcore fans(such as myself)she is known as "the manga goddess".10000000X better than Takahashi or Watase with less that 1/2 the American credit.
All of Yuuki-sensei's works are powerful.You not only love her characters and storys,but you yourself crying their tears.You literally become one with her characters!She has a powerful sence of humanity,therefore none of these characters are one dimentional(take Inuyasha or Yusuke for example,veru boring and one dimentional)These guys have multiple and real personallitys that are the clostest you can get to a human being in manga.All of them are extreemly tainted,like real humans.
Regarding her storys,all are drama(the good kinda)They are usually showing the beautiful side to the "evil"in the world. Prostitution,murder,incest,demons,lying,homosexual
lity,ect.They give you completly different looks on life,but they are not for the immature or simple minded...no..these storys require an open mind as well as an open heart.
Her art?THE BEST!

Mine would be Naoko Takeuchi, hands down...she's the creator of Code Name wa SailorV, Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon, PQ Angels, Love Witch, and many more. I love her artwork, (she's considered among the top 5 manga-ka in Japan, if I remember correctly), and she's a great writer. Sadly, the only of her manga that's been brought to the US is Sailormoon, but as everyone knows, it was a huge success. I've read most of her work through scanlations, though

Mineko Ohkami. Works: Dragon Knights(mostly known), Lumen Lunae(shonen-ai) and, something like Akira...starts with an A and has a number in it. -.-
Shes a GREAT artist. Draws hot bishies and is very good at character design and she can draw awsome looking dragons and demons, and the way she draws all the fights, with all that blooood. its SO awsome. you should look at some of her pictures! ^^
