gladiator v. mephisto
Here is the scenario:
Mephisto, bored of human souls, tries to collect some alien souls--this time from the Shi-ar empire.
Gladiator learns of the plot and is able to reach Mephisto's dimension. What happens?

That's what I was thinking...
However, if Professor X got into the mix, the two could probably wear Mephisto out enough where gladiator and x escape with some souls. However, mephisto gets to keep the bad shi'ar souls!

Guys Mephisto is almost unbeatable in his own realm mephisto even riveled galactus but that was before galactus started absorbing the realm into himself. He was there to save nova and silver surfer cause they were traped in that realm i think so who do you think would win, not even silver surfer and nova could beat mephisto in that realm and galactus himself had to intervine and still it wasnt untill he started absorbing the realm that he won.
