Do not underestimate the Lion Of Asgard, Volstagg the Voluminous; attacking the family clan is one thing, but taking a man's hard-earned mutton and mead? Have At Thee, Villan! 
Seriously, Volstagg will bluster and make excuses, Hogun will clang one weapon after another on Herc as he smirks and eats the food, but Fandril suddenly presents the Enchantress and her sister Lorelei, and Herc suddenly gets the urge to go and do "what he does best!"

I seem to recall the Enchantress falling for Herc wayyy back in the avengers, when he entered the team for the first time.
Time to recandle old flames eh
About the fight, Herc owns. Its two against one after all, we all know how Volstagg the Voluminous its brave....not.
Note of interest, Herc and Thor have already fought for a woman: Jane Foster.
