Your money is safe he teleports way further than nightcrawler, I dunno whether that will influence the fight but supposedly he acceses the same dimension as nightcrawler when he teleports, the darkforce dimension.

Nightcrawler has more experience and or combat skills , he can also dodge the bullet/laser combo that vanisher occasionally uses rather easily considering his dodging prowess.
