The Greatest 3 0n 3 Basketball Tournament Ever Starts Now

This is going to be an 8 team Tournament. Each decade will have a repersinitive and some will have 2. we will go back as far as the 50' to todays Basketball players.

Here are the teams that are playing in the Tournament:
Team 50's -Team 60's -Team 70's -Team 80's - Team Mid 80's -Team 90's - Team 2000 and Team Mid 2000

There will be 4 games in the first round.
We will start with the 1 game at a time and discuss and vote for the winner of the game. 1 vote per person and discus why you feel the team you voted for would win.

Team Mid 80's:
Magic Johnson....: HT 6'9 - WT 255 - PPG 19.5 - RPG 7.2 - APG 11.2
Larry Bird...........: HT 6'9 - WT 220 - PPG 24.3 - RPG 10 - APG 6.3
Dominique Wilkins: HT 6'8 - WT 224 - PPG 24.8 - RPG 6.7 - APG 2.5

vs

Team Mid 2000:
Lebron James......: HT 6'8 - WT 240 - PPG 25.0 - RPG 6.4 - APG 6.4
Carmelo Anthony.: HT 6'8 - WT 230 - PPG 21.3 - RPG 5.8 - APG 2.7
Dwyane Wade.....: HT 6'4 - WT 212 - PPG 21.6 - RPG 4.9 - APG 5.9

Three on three can favor speed. Not all the time, but it can make a difference...and the Lebron team has speed. They don't, however, have the championship pedigree of Bird/Magic. Winners win...and if any players ever had "the factor", it was Bird and Magic. Also, Bird's shooting should negate any potential speed advantage the modern team would have. I would expect that team 80's would be slightly better at rebounding as well.

My vote is for the Team of: Magic/Bird/Nique.

Team Mid 80's:

That is a horrible team 2000, Lebron is the only pick I agree with.

Throw in Kobe (62pts in 3 quarters) and Tmac or KG

There are 2 teams for the 2000 decade

Kobe, Tmac and AI are the 2000 team, but there game is not up yet.

Lebron, Carmelo and Wade are just the Mid 2000 team for this Tournament.

So you will see , Kobe, Tmac and AI later in the Tournament.
