Penance stare would be horrible for Batman. Not because he's done much bad in his life, but because he's got a total messiah complex, and all of the stuff he THINKS he did bad, such as his parents' deaths, will just be killing him inside even more than it already is.
Another incredibly funny battle... First off, let me say I love both of these characters...and Batman is probably my favorite DC character ever...but even I know where to draw the line with Batman. Batman's good no doubt about that at all, but if this fight ever really happened, I'm here to tell you Batman gets his @$$ kicked and there ain't a damn thing Batman can do about it...
I have an issue where Punisher went up against Ghost Rider with everything he had...and it was embarrassing. Now, I know Punisher isn't in Batman's league, but the result would be the same. There is not one thing Batman can do to harm Ghost Rider. Ghost Rider is virtually indestructable...Punches, kicks, batarangs, various gas pellets, flash grenades, smoke-bombs, etc...ain't gonna do diddelly against the Rider...even if he manages to do something to blow Ghost Rider up, Ghost Rider can just reform himself.
If Batman doesn't have some kind of weapon mystical in nature, and knows exactly how to use it, and has time to use it before Ghost Rider gets to him, he is sincerely #%$@'d Ghost Rider is FAR stronger, faster, indestructable, more durable, and can take A LOT more punishment than Batman can dish out...not to mention he can do things on his motorcycle that Batman only dreams he wish he could do with his Batmobile...
Nice try Bats, but not even you are taking down the Spirit of Vengeance....

Ghost Rider has nothing on Batman. His greatest weapons, those fireballs, are common laughingstock in the Marvel Universe. His chains are nothing more than a generic gang member could whip up, and from what I've seen, he's not much of a bike rider either. Let's face it; Ghost Rider's pathetic weapons are far below Batman's limits of endurance.
Then, Ghost Rider is far from invulnerable. From what I've seen he's like a rag doll to even common criminals off the street. This jerk was shot almost to death with a single, regular 9MM gun for christ's sake! He's a joke!
Then of course fighting skills and agility: no matter how many fireballs Ghost Rider can produce and no matter how many chains he has, he can't hit Bats. Not once. And a single hit or a kick would drop the poor skull-head, fight over.
Bottom line: Ghost Rider sucks.

^ Not really. The finish of it is eye contact with Ghost Rider, but first he immobilizes them with some sort of supernatural force. It's an amazing technique, and Ghost Rider has owned many with it. He brought down Galactus with it.
To turn mental suffering into physical pain? Galactus is a cosmic entity, IMO he should be immune to such concepts. Have you ever seen Death or Lord Chaos tremble in pain? I sure haven't, at least not with less power than IG can summon.
Tulika, dude....you obviously don't know much about Ghost Rider or have never read a good Ghost Rider issue...and you waaaay overestimate Batman and waaaaay underestimate Ghost Rider....those "fireballs" (which aren't fireballs at all), are Hellfire...which is far hotter than any regular fire...one good solid hit with a blast of hellfire and Batman's groveling on the ground cryin' like a baby...
...and that "ordinary biker chain" you referred to is indestructable...it's unbreakable and can morph into other weapons and can project projectile weapons from it...for instance like daggers, ninjastars, etc...it's inexhaustible and never runs out off ammo...unlike Batman's utility belt.
And I don't know what issue you read, but from the issue's I've read, 9MM bullets don't do diddelly against Ghost Rider...they pass right thru him and don't faze him in the least...(In Darkhold issue #5, Punisher's 9MM bullets didn't do anything but annoy him) and if you're talkin' the new Ghost Rider from his newest series that's out right now, well, let's just say it took a higher-level demon from Hell called Kazann to give Ghost Rider a problem, and it took him and an arc-angel from Heaven to stop him...
and as far as Batman dropkicking him and taking him down... ....that's a good one...thanks for making my day

The penance stare is the only thing that see doing any harm to batman ofcourse there is his strenght and ask for the the hellfire fire balls nothing new I mean seriously batman fights the supernatural just as much as he fights the people on the streets.
The penances stare is a very good weapon. I mean it takes your inner suffering and turns it into a weapon.
