H.G Wells Martians Versus Marvel New Yorks street levlers.
Any one over class 30 has been drawn away in a massive crossover battle against the jla . With earths uber powerful heroes gone the martians believe the time is right for their invasion.
30 tripods land in the center of new york , and start destroying .
All of the street levelers within new york attack , the rest of earths street levelers arrive in small groups of five every hour or so .
Who wins ?

I'd think the street levelers could take it. I mean all they'd have to do is destroy one leg on each one and besides is Tom Cruse could avoid getting killed by thoes things anyone could.

Note: These are the book martians , basically the same as the film ones except no sheild , and tentacles on the tripods to grab things.
