well SOK killed the angels and even the god of his comic soooooooo i dont know they probably kill each other cause it takes time to absorb someone and by that time he'll have shot at thanos and then thanos will absorb him and they will both die.
Bang bang, thanos ceases to exist and so does his creation, the Saint of Killers walks away to wander the omniverse in search of the cure to his morbid grief which plagues him, worms of despair relentlessly consume his flesh as he is devoured by his own inner turmoil.
Thanos wouldnt have time to do anything, as he would be dead in the time it takes the SoK to raise a gun and fire, which is less than a second
