I think that evenly matched fights like this are just great! In real life, I'd rather see Colossus vs The Thing, just because there's no guys in real life that can hit that hard, but in comics, I'd rather see Bats vs Cap because you see great fighting and mind-games from the masters!!
The Batman and Captain America fight would be a more flexible fight; they have weapons, martial art skills, and intelligence (meaning the fight could end with brainy tactics). Sluggers are fun, but Colossus and Thing wouldn't be anything special.
Like stated, the Cap vs. Bats fight would be a strategic dream, full of tactical plans and such. Martial arts, weapons, it'd be great.
The slugger match would be pretty epic as well, especially since these two have such a following behind them. It'd be amazing to see just how much stuff they'd break.
