Superboy also promptly died in that comic.......Wearing an S shield. These things have to be taken into consideration. Same guy who was bloodied from SB laughed off BA's attacks. Inconsistent maybe. Or a good showing in death??
Magneto wins and looking at both SB Vs SBP fights, Conner got in one hit and a tackle which promptly killed him. I wouldn't say they went head to head.
However, it's interesting that Nightwing survived the tower explosion seemingly unscathed.
