Who can hold their breath longer, Wolverine or Deathstroke?
Wolverine has a healing factor, and lack of air won't hurt him as much, and Slade can completely peak everything he does because he's so focused.
They don't have any other projects going on except for holding their breath, so they're just sitting cross-legged or whatever they feel like. Who holds their breath longer?

I don't think powers or necessarily conditioning have as much to do with this battle as much as power of the mind. Old monks can hold their breath for ages while buried alive in a deep meditation.

wolverine. wolverine ahs shown time and time again to be able to hol his breath for extremely long time.
he showed this with in his battle with weapon 15 while he was in space.
he also showed this while battle tiger shark in the water.
he also showed this while battleing hulk in the water. hulk him self even commented on it.
wolveriner also shoewd this while battleing a legendary creature under water.\
wolverine can hold his breath many times that of any human. not only that but his healing factor makes the proccess of ending air even less making him able to hold his breath even longer.
Re: Who can hold their breath longer, Wolverine or Deathstroke?
That makes no sense whatsoever, especially because you can't prove it. Who between the two of them is a zen master? It sure as hell aint Deathstroke. Wolverine is focused enough to sneak up on Daredevil. No small feat there. I see Wolverine slipping into a meditative death-like state where his body needs less oxygen to function.
Re: Re: Who can hold their breath longer, Wolverine or Deathstroke?
Dude, do you know about Deathstroke????? Deathstroke is tha man........... He consistently hands Batman his own ass even with Bats having prep-time. Deathstroke is basically the perfect human........
Re: Re: Re: Who can hold their breath longer, Wolverine or Deathstroke?
Dude Deathstroke handed Batman his ass because Deathstroke has SUPERPOWERS!! Deathstroke won because he is faster and stronger than Batman. He won because he has a healing factor. Deathstroke admitted he would never want to fight Batman without his powers. He basically admits Batman is a better fighter than he is.
You are talking about holding your breath. Wolverine is seen meditating a lot more than Slade, therefor you saying Slade is more focused is wack. Meditation is all about focus. Since Wolverine has all that eastern MA dicipline it stands that he would be able to "focus" underwater better than Slade would.
And who cares if Slade is like the perfect human when Wolverine is clearly beyond anything human?
Re: Re: Re: Re: Who can hold their breath longer, Wolverine or Deathstroke?
Wolverine does meditate, but so does Slade. When I say human perfection, I understand that he has powers, but what I mean is the human sides of him, that aren't superpowered, are completely polished, like Wolverine. I think he could have a fair chance, and I might even take him. I dont' know how this is not an even contest........
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Who can hold their breath longer, Wolverine or Deathstroke?
I am not a super devoted follower of Slade, but I have never seen him meditate. And even if he does, he doesn't do it nearly as often as we see Wolverine doing it.
Wolverine goes on book reading holidays where he sits in an empty room and just reads. That's patience.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Who can hold their breath longer, Wolverine or Deathstroke?
I think I would give the edge to Deathstroke. For one, he's always one with the cold, calculating plans. What that really has to do with this, I'm not sure.
Two, the 90% of his brain thing. I know it's either based on a myth and makes him look retarded or twisted so he uses more of his brain for thinking than the normal human. But with that much mastery over his own mind, I think he'd have greater control over his bodily systems.
It's not patience, it's reading. My grandma does it. Except she sits in a chair.
