Well, if he can fly between planets in space, then he can probably last a helluva long time underwater.

Supes takes this with absolute ease.
He could crush the skulls of both within a split second.
He could simply use heat vision to boil the water around them for square miles, making the flesh fall from their bones.
These guys are very powerful heroes.
But they're nothing compared to Superman.
