As great as the Living Tribunal is, he is nothing to Pre-Retcon Beyonder . Remember how he and the other cosmics didn't dare to do a thing to stop Beyonder from killing Death. Someone in the 'room' also said something like "You must be more powerful than the rest of this room together or otherwise they would be jumping on you, right? "Yes".
They stop at 8, Beyonder and Thanos fighting forever and not being able to kill each other or possibly Thanos overcoming them right away. Beyonder didn't seem to be omnipotent after all.
had to chime in here. retroactive continuity is bullshit. the beyonder was simply beyond. this has been done before but there is no one above pre-retcon beyonder. respek thread anyone? yes spectre is bad ass but so was owen reece. those two perhaps stalemate but beyond does whatever he wants. or, to put it another way, the only reason the others do what they do is because at some level the beyonder allowed it. sorry but it's true. marvel didn't know what they were doing when they unleashed the beyonder and had to "ret-conn" him to close pandora's box. sorry guys, i've read the issues. beyonder was all that and a bag of spectre puffs.
