The idea is four of the most bitter enemies put against each other.
Sub Zero is depowered in this fight to just being able to make ice weapons and snowballs. Sort of like in the 1st movie. Scorpion will not be able to use any firepowers but has his hand-spear and an adamantium katanas. Sub Zero can make his own weapons.

scorpian will still be god like. you said none of his blast correct?
he still have his speed,strength agility and reflex. at he recent level he murder them. hell he could take on the hulk in h2h and win lol
Sub Zero has hios powers but is depowered to the point where he can make snowballs, shields, and clones. He canb also make razor-sharp weapons. No freezing thier blood or heart or anything like that or teleporting.
in mortal kombat deception.... the two forces off outworld were vying for power and engaged in an enormous battle.. at the end of which the tarakan hordes (an army of barakas) were sent running... on their way home, they spotted sub zero and recognized him as one of the good guys... the story line mode describes the army that attacked sub zero as "countless" or "endless" in number... subzero wasted all of them.
that said... if the MK guys don't get their power ups and physical enhancements than sabretooth and wolverine win this... not necessarily because of skill but because wolverine and sabes can take punishment while subzero and scorpion can't afford to.

either way, even human mk fighters can kick with the force of a 10 to 30 ton lifter... look at lui kang, he's kicked back an airborn 20 ton section of pillar without even trying and he sent if flying back 15 or 20 feet. the forced of the kick would have had to have been completely beyond the 20 ton range in order to not only stop the rocks massive momentum, but to send it sailing back... mk fighters ore just on a ridiculous level.
