Alright Thing lift somewhere between 85 and 100 tons and with the boost of CU he will lift 50 times his regular strength.Also he will have increased durability to demi-godlike Durability

Well I thought the Captain Universe was only able to amplify the users abilities like Things strength stamina and duability and maybe give him the ability to fly.

Well, the uni-power does more than that. Much, much more. It enhances every power you already possess by factor 50. Strength wise, that's not nearly enough to overtake even a non-evolved Doomsday.
