The only dangerous thing about the lightening (to Johnny at least) is the electrical current and effect to his heart. Thats it , the intense heat is nothing and were completely ignoring the fact that Johnny could dodge it.
Lol , don't tell me if your dodging lasers your 'movign at the speed of light' as well. Not forgetting that fact that as much as the narrator likes to hyperbole Storm can't actually summon a lightening bolt out of thin air , it would take at least minute or so to set itself up
That has ZERO to do with Torch. If anything it's basic science , please tell me you understand expansion and contraction .
Now try again.
Forgetting that HT gives off such intense heat it would take a reasonable amount of time to actually accomplish it . Let alone the 'Atmospheric water' she's trying to saturate him in (Which by the way , would evaporate )
Real useful when a character can FLY
What ? By having Johny go through a series of pillars and causing the ceiling to fall on him ? Because it seems a hell of a lot more like self-pwnage then Storms doing. Plus were in the great outdoors , no pillars for Johny to go through.
Maybe you should realise that johnny techniquly forfieted that fight, by not using an attack that would kill her, If he had used a nova blast it would have been instant mutant crispy...
Maybe YOU should realise Storm had a building hovering above him, nova would in the end killed himself. Not to mention, by KMC rules characters will fight by thier normal attitude/morals...and Johnney not wanting to kill led him to his downfall
But after he killed storm he could fly out the way of the building as she was no longer pinning him down, or he could just burn a hole through the debris to survive, and if characters are going by their usual moral codes then Storm wouldnt be hitting johnny with a building either would she?? And the only reason she did that in contest of the champions was because she was being manipulated to do anything she could to win, johnny managed to snap out of it at the end though, which is why he didnt use Nova.
Right...he's going to do that all while he is piled under debris half way KO'ed. Storm didn't drop the building, so no...it was not out of her character.
Human Torch has few attacks that can instantly KO storm while I can think of dozens Storm has. She is to versitle for him.
His nova has never really done anything feat-worthy. Post some scans?

And looking at that again she was only holding some debris not the building. And Johnny said the Nova would reach her, and once he flames on he burns away the rest of the debris making an easy escape.
So What can Storm do that can instanly KO torch, And Torch dosn't need to KO her he just needs to light her on fire then she's in a whole lot of trouble, and I doubt she could concentrate while set on fire...
Despite everyones believes, her elemental conjurings take seconds to spawn (the hurricane appeared in less than 1 pannel), and be controlled in almost any enviorment, no matter what size. (hurricane in a clothes store for example, or the hurricane above NY, without damaging anything but her target)
As in his respect thread, that is his only decent feat.
Oh wow....
I had no idea the Sun had such a low temperature of 1,000,000 Fahrenheit
