It's actually been done numerous times, with multiple stipulations.
What it comes down to, is, Hand to hand combat? Captain America is gonna win a majority. How large of a majority? Well, that varies depending on who you ask.
With weapons (gadgets and shield, in particular), it's gonna be evened up a bit, or edged in Batman's favor.
H'mm this is interesting everyone is saying cap but nothing of alt versions of the two if thats the case i'd say the bat wins hands down esp if you think the bat from the red rain series no gadgets required he'll just suck cap dry lol
In the Mavel vs Dc cross over where they fought Batman won, in another cross over they both matched equally hand-hand but batman ended up telling cap that Cap would beat him but it ould take a long time.
