1. Superman- The very first of his kind, without him, no others
2. Wonder Woman- The very first Girl Superhero Icon
3. Batman- His story and his humanism
4. DS- You gotta have a good Villian with grander schemes
5. Doomsday- brought Supes back to the media in a big way
6. Lucifer- Smartly written, awesomely original
7. Green Lantern- Very inventive character
8. The Spectre- The wrath of God, how cool
9. Mr. Mxy- I just love a being who can do anything
10. The Joker- He's the Joker the best villian in DC comics
1. Silver Surfer-Noble and peaceful and powerful
2. Thor- I like Magical beings, He's one of the best
3. Spiderman- He's cool becuz he's spiderman
4. Ironman- Almost real enough to be real life
5. Thanos- He has the best monologues and one liners
6. Jean Grey-She keeps the xmen mythos going and going
7. Wolverine- A cash cow for marvel and cool character when he's not overrated
8. The Hulk- I loved him when Peter david wrote him, A brick with story
9. THe LT- The actual embodiment of Judgment. How cool is that.
10. Dr. Doom- He's like the best villian ever.
