Absorbing Man doesn't absorb powers anyway, he absorbs the properties of materials/energies. If he touched Magneto he would only get the physical strength of a regular human, not magnetic powers.

Barring absorbing man copying the evolution power, I can see Doomsday being the deus ex machina that decides it.

SA can't use Entropy. And that's the only thing I know that's a sure-fire kill against a good version of Doomsday.
