I don't know what the comic's say...but...it'd make sense that she wouldn't have to.
I mean, when every atom in her body is dispersed while 'phased,' she wouldn't really use energy, or create waste.... .
It seems like ALL 'normal' bodily functions would cease. Including drinking and eating.
