Silver Surfer - Quasar - (Hal)GL - Captain Marvel(DC) vs Pre-Crisis Superman

No absorption or red radiation attacks.

I wonder.

Debate.

Is this overkill yall?

After seeing the respect thread, I figured Supes had a chance.

I even thought, was this enough to take that monster?

Superman goes back in time and defeats them before the fight starts.

laughing out loud

There we go.

Like I said, was this enough, apparently not.

btw. Hal can't time travel?

I know Silver Surfer can glimpse into the Past, but with some concentration.

Do you think that's his only option?

It's an interesting debate I think.

I also forgot that Quasar can Quantum jump into different Timelines, escaping a timetravel attack.

Silver Surfer can glimpse into the Past, that I know of, but he had to concentrate.

Superman can probably do it faster, but imo Quasar can jump Timelines equally or better,

(in Marvel he does it like nothing)

I'm not sure about GL and CM.

An explosion of a Galaxy will not hurt Quasar and propably not SS,

and I'm assuming GL. (don't know)

Quasar withstood a Universal Black Hole and actually managed to contain it.

But I still think Superman wins.

No. He could hit them or freeze them or incinerate them or grab them and fly past the bounds of reality or inhale them or blow them across the galaxy with a fart.

Hal's shields are meaningless?

Quasar's shield can withstand a Black hole made to swallow the Universe.

SS took a beaten from Aegis and Tenebrous and still came back for more.

I don't know jack about CM, but I know he's tuff.

I doub't that would work on SS or Quasar or GL.

These guys fly through Space at speeds far exceeding that of Light.

Their shields can withstand the core of Stars aswell.

Quasar Quantum jumped outside the Multiverse.

Holy, I didn't know that.

So Hal was more powerful than Superman, on panel?

Maybe? GL's are supposed to be,but you know it's Superman.
Current Supes is easily more impressive than Pre-crisis Supes though.

Trying to stop PreCrisisSuperman with shields is not a great (or effective) idea.

It's PreCrisisSuperman for Christ's sake. The heat from the core of a star is probably nothing compare to his HV.

(please log in to view the image)

When the diaphragm contracts, the ribcage expands and the contents of the abdomen are moved downward. This results in a larger thoracic volume, which in turn causes a decrease in intrathoracic pressure. As the pressure in the chest falls, air (and the happless heroes) moves into the conducting zone.

Actually both have beaten each other. The only guys precrisis Supes new could beat him at that kind of power level who were heroes were Vartox and Duplicate boy really.

I know PCS is powerful but I never saw him destroy a Universe, in the respect thread atleast.

I have seen and do have the issues where Quasar resisted a Universal Black Hole.

This Black Hole was literally collapsing Time and Space, (the Universe) Quasar from the heart of the BH endured and overcame it's power, then he contained it aswell.

Quasar's shields imo can deflect what Supes throws at him, maybe not forever but I'm sure it can buy him some time, Quasar can also attack while protecting himself, the Quantum bands shiled his entire body at will.

That was just a simple example.

Yes, I posted the scans myself, it's a Speed Feat.

His speed was increasing exponentially, he didn't attain that speed instantaneously.

But like I said,

Quasar covered that distance in an instant, when he Quantum jumped out of the Multiverse.

Anyhow,

IMO, Superman wins with raw power primarily, using the many options at his disposal. CM and SS probably lose here first, Quasar and GL give him a good fight, then Quasar goes down.

From what I'm reading, it's up for grabs from there.
