When Walter Langowski was trapped in the Box armor, he and Roger Bochs worked with Madison Jeffries to create an interdimensional gateway that would allow them to "fish" for a new body for Walter.
They found a body which they thought was suitable, but as the transference commenced, they realized that the body they had found was that of a mindless Hulk. Recognizing the Hulk as his friend Bruce Banner, Walter aborted the transference, and the mindless Hulk body went on a rampage in Canada.
Alpha Flight tried to subdue him, and in the process Hulk almost effortlessly ripped the arms and legs off of the Box armor, sending Roger Bochs into a panic as he was unsure whether or not any permanent damage had been done to him.
