Omni might be his equal in strength/speed, but he lacks Kal's versatility and his collection of feats (since Omni Man's fairly recent).

Omni-Man had to train at killing his own people, who are just as strong/fast as Kryptonians, for over 500 years before he started going out on missions.

A fully trained Viltrumite can punch straight through super-beings in their own weight class.

The only differences between Viltrumites and Kryptonians are heat vision and super-senses.

And no-one has the equal of Superman's collection of feats as he's been around for longer than most and his writers seem to go crazy from time to time.
