New Avengers vs. Dio Brando

The New Avengers are in Egypt, searching for a crime lord who's taken control of Cairo. His name is unknown, but his victims have been drained of blood, and have holes gouged into their faces. Dr. Strange is busy in Germany with another case.

The NA sneak into the crime boss's mansion. They find themselves greeted by a tall blonde man in a yellow jackey with red eyes, who appears seemingly out of nowhere. "Your strength isn't of the calibur needed to beat me. I'll show you the meaning of power. ZA WARUDO!" He vanishes from their sight, reappearing at the top of the stairs. "Show me what humans can do!"

All current New Avengers except Strange,

Vs.

Dio Brando.

1st round: Dio doesn't get Za Warudo.
2nd round: Dio gets Za Warudo, but no timestop.
3rd round: Dio's going all out, like when he fought Jotaro for the last time.

1st round - Dio takes out Echo , Ronin , Possibly Wolverine and possibly Iron fist. Cage would tear him apart however, though Dio may be able to take him (Dio would most likely end up in pretty bad shape afterwards though). Spidey would shred the poor bastard.

2nd Round - Dio Solos with some difficulty

3rd Round - Utter Stomp on the NA , time stops , long-range punches, blood drains, zombie creation ect. Their f*cked.

I just started getting into this series. I'm currently downloading Chapter 1, when Dio went to live with the Joestars. This is now one of my new favs. 😄 Man, Dio is a supreme dick. 😈

Think Jotaro would be a better match? and what class strength is Dio, with and without Za Warudo? I asked in the tier thread, Akuki said high meta.

I read up to the final volume of the first section (Ie before Stardust breakers) .

Dio is around class 5-8 in my opinion. He's punching through towers, tears people apart like ragdolls and tore open a bus like a tuna-can.

Is that before or after Dio acquired Za Warudo? Cause if that was just his vampire powers, how much did his stand amp his stats?

Not sure what his after stats are, but before he was mighty powerful.

He was regenerating FASTER then a fire (which had completely covered him) could burn him. And we all know what regeneration is usually like when fire is involved.....

Bump. and having read through part 1 of JJBA, I think he's got a shot at winning in the first round. Especially if he abuses those bloodsucking fingers and space ray stingy eyes.

and because I think Dio can win even in round 1. Anyone he drains will become a vampire and his ally, with all their powers and skills.

And unlike Johnathan Joestar, the New Avengers don't have the advantage of Hamon.

And btw, Dio can freeze parts of his body and objects he touches.

At the time, I didn't quite realize just how powerful most stands were. Or how uber Dio is.

Thats how I thought he could take Cage in the first fight. Spidey would wreck him then though.

Dio's healing factor would make it tough for Spidey to take him while fighting the others.

And he doesn't have the advantage of Hamon to fight him with.
