Team 2. Shaw and Guido can probably stalemate(although id give the slight nod to SG) or Cannonball could just fly him in the air and drop him, but Maverick is currently powerless. Hes useless here.
I disagree. Shaw took a beating from Colossus and shortly thereafter overpowered him. Guido's not as strong as Colossus, and even if he does stalemate Shaw, eventually it's going to get to a point where Guido gets overloaded and goes into cardiac arrest.
Question though-- Would Shaw's powers work just as well on a fall, or would he just go splat?
Maverick may be without his powers, but in his suit of armor and high-powered firearms, he's far from helpless. More than enough for him to kill Strong Guy and Madrox if given the chance.
Speedball, well, I don't know too much about him.
Team two's biggest asset is Cannonball. If Shaw can survive the fall scenario, team one should win hands down. If not, Cannonball would tip the odds in team two's favor.
Was that really a beating Shaw took from Colossus? I thought it was some mind trick that made Colossus THINK he was beating on Shaw. I have to read the issue again. Guido is not as strong as Colossus starting off, but hes not far behind. Shaw isnt as strong as Colossus either. I dont think Shaw wouold be able to overload Guido for the simple fact that WWH did it and hes the only one to do it since the heart monitor Forge put in(Although even getting hit from Hulk shouldnt have caused a problem).
Shaws powers wouldnt work on a fall. Hed be overloaded from it. It was stated that he was beaten by it before.
Maverick would be ganged up on by Madrox. Pure numbers. Sure some dupes would die, but all for the greater good.
Ive stopped reading Thunderbolts, so im not sure what speedball is up to now. I cant comment on him really.
