Even if Goku became SS4, you still think that they might not have chance then? In DBGT, isn't Goku most the powerful fighter in the entire unitverse?

Hell no, this is the worst spite match I've ever seen. Thanos with the IG was for all intents and purposes the supreme being of Universe 616, there were no beings save the LT who were even a match for him. He defeated or killed all opposition in his way, only reason he lost the IG was due to him subconciously realizing he's not fit to have omnipotence. 100/10 for Thanos with IG.
