Who is capable of defeating Eclipso and how powerful is he/she, compared to other supernatural cosmics.?

The reason Eclipso is so weak right now, is because most of the black diamond has been destroyed.

Scratch that. It seems Alex Montez, who put most of the gems into his body, had his corpse swiped by Eclipso, who is feeding on it to regain his powers. Eclipso is corrupting heroes and various people for the purpose of regaining his powers.


Given that Countdown is in flux, the idea of the Heart of Darkness being mined on Apokolips is in doubt.

The Black Diamond has recently been recreated by extracting what Alex injected in himself and then Eclipso used it to turn to full power.
