mayhaps, but here he's fighting two guys at once...so he can't focus on just one of them...and both xmen are superagile and can help each other distract sas
Because Gambit developed his powers to a grander scale and didn't want to blow up the city accidently. He didn't have full control over his new powers, he almost blew up Rogue and Colossus, and didn't want a repeat on some innocent people. I love how people continually bring up the events during that arc without mentioning the oh so important circumstances surrounding it.
As for this fight, Beast is almost a non-factor since he has to get in close to do any damage. Gambit is the bigger threat of the duo here since he has a ranged attack. The problem is, it is debatable whether or not Gambit could do enough damage to Sasquatch before they get squashed. If Beast could distract Sasquatch long enough for Gambit to go all out, the X-Men could take it. Unfortunately, that is easier said than done. As K-M- stated, Sasquatch has tagged people just as agile as the X-Men and has taken large amounts of damage before. On the other hand, Gambit has damaged some really tough class 100's in the past and the X-Men should be able to evade any hard shots for a time.
I guess the question is, "Can the X-Men do enough damage before Sasquatch punches their heads off?"
I'm leaning towards Sasquatch at the moment. I don't know that much of his durability so I could be swayed.
