I can see Gladiator at full confidence beating BA, and Wonder Woman besting Nefaria in a close battle.
I think Gladiator would have more left in the tank to battle Wonder Woman than she would to battle him...thus, he wins it.
Side note: BA reminded me of SMP in WW3, owning so many people at once. Was awesome.
