Entropy did manipulate the events under which he later became insane though.
His insanity did trigger his potential,
so in that sense, you have a valid point.
But later, Photon (without Entropy's interference) showed even greater potential still,
as he alone was destined to wipe out Eternity across all Timelines,
basically, ending the Marvel Universe as we know it,
making Photon potentially beyond abstract, into the realm of Gods above Gods.
