Couple things to note.
1. He's dodging bullets at close range.
2. He's been kept in captivity for YEARS without food&water.
3. He's survived to due his being a high end chi master. (The Mandarin has been retconned back to his original levels of MA prowess, IE: he's capable of fighting Iron Man BARE-HANDED and smashing the armor with the same.)
4. He's not only dodging the bullets, he's positioning himself so that the bullets will destroy the chains.
5. Look ma, NO HANDS! He later had them replaced with cybernetics and BURNED his rings into his spine. But he escaped that prison camp without hands.

Spite: Matches deliberately made to screw over a character, or deliberately one sided to the point of stupidity. Basically, where a match is way too one-sided.
BFR: battlefield removal. Any time one guy removes the other guy from the field. Throwing them to the earth's core, sending them to orbit, portals, Omega Effect, time warp, changing dimensional vibrations, etc.
IG: Infinity Gauntlet. High end power artifact in Marvel.
CCU/CC: Cosmic Containment Unit/Cosmic Cube. also high end power artifact in marvel, below the IG.
IM: Iron Man. Marvel superhero who uses powered armor.
DS: Either Deathstroke or Darkseid. Deathstroke is a mercenary supervillain on DC Earth. Darkseid is a god of evil from the 4th world.
