I would go with Quasar. big grin

Seriously, it looks like both can manipulate and absorb energy, however it appears that Captain Atom can be overloaded?

So Wendell would just open up on him with the full power of the quantum-bands (infinite energy).

Also, appears Quasar is a lot faster.

The overloading of energy is primarily a plot device, as it stands Captain Atom's potential was shown as Monarch, and there were no substantial vamping of energy as a result of the suit, which has been said on panel before. Regarding speed, Captain Atom has traveled near light speeds before, and I have panels regarding which, if necessary. The Captain is essentially a Quantum elemental....

Yep, to me CA has shown to manipulate energy in most forms as well. This could go either way, although Captain Atom's potential is far more powerful than Q.

The Cap has greater potential sure..but in a standard fight... absorbing too much energy makes him randomly quantum jump...something that Quasar has complete control over and does casually.

Forced Quantum jump for the bfr win.
