He had some spectacular feats, but you have to also remember, that when he was compared up with DC characters, of which his universe is part of the DCU now, Majestic hadn't looked nearly as powerful as Superman.
Majestic had trouble with Captain Atom. Not to say I feel completely that he couldn't beat him, but CA definately had the upper hand in their only real encounter... iirc, without pulling out the Armageddon issues, I believe he even made a reference to Superman being stronger? Or maybe that was against Apollo, who also appeared weaker than Superman..
And Superman can spin in a circle, and beat Captain Atom, Green Lantern, Powergirl, and another handful enemies at the same time, if he's determined. In fact, he did so in Superman/Batman.

I don't agree. He beat a suped up Eradicator easily enough, without even wanting to fight. And base Erads gave Supes & Superboy a run for their money (okay, that's a stretch, but...) Also, when Erads, Supes, and Maj travel back to the WS universe and fight the Daemonite bots (they weren't Daemonites, but whatever the huge starship which kidnapped Earth's populace was called...) Maj and Supes were portrayed as equals there, too. And prior to that when Maj stood in for Superman in the mainstream DCU, Lois even comments about their similarity.
Meh. CA beat him in their first encounter. But it was close. And CA said that he hits almost as hard as Superman. But Majestic used to always hold back. Especially against someone he'd never met. Currently, he's a bloodlusted psycho, and previously (the '99 run), he'd make Superman shit his pants strength-wise.
In their second encounter, CA attempted to fly away as fast as he possibly could in order to escape the universe. Majestic easily catches up with him, CA throws a punch, and Majestic catches it easily. Then they talk.
Third encounter, CA punches Majestic to really no discernable effect, Maj gets pissed off and holds CA by the throat to attempt to talk to him. CA spits on his face, and Maj throws him through the Washington Monument with one arm.
It was pretty clear Majestic was the superior being physically, even with his seemingly recent downgrade.

This is rediculous. No mere high herald is capable of beating someone skyfather plus.
Darkseid oneshots with the OE. Or he stops time on Majestros and hands him to Desaad. or he crushes his will with the ALE. Or he mindrapes him into submission. etc, etc, etc.

If Superman can avoid and dodge and outrun the OE, so can Majestic...who is also FTL. Majestic's also a telepath with high-level telepathic resistance. And crushing his will with the ALE? Like he did to Superman, right? Or Batman? Or any other heroes without the aid of tech?

Stop pulling out strawmen and using story considerations. You obviously have no counter for Darkseid at full capacity, so quit posturing and just admit your boy is outclassed.
And Majestic from the end of his run? You pull that, I'm pulling the ALE/True Darkseid card, the one from FC.

Darkseid at full capacity? You're using Darkseid with full knowledge of the ALE to make most of your argument. Which he can't even spread to anyone meaningful without the aid of tech. See FC. Or Rock of Ages. Or Superman: The Dark Side. The ALE isn't Darkseid's own power, anyway. But if you want to use powerups, that's fine. I'll settle for using Majestic when he becomes one of the Universals, if so. Remember Superman during Superman: Beyond when he transcends the physical, 3D world and exists on a higher plane? Even holding all of Limbo in his hand? That's Majestic as a Universal.

And Darkseid's true form was vast and powerful enough to crush the entire DC multiverse. You can spout the same BS onedumb did to try and claim it was the ALE, but we both know it wasn't. You have only speculation and one or two sentences. I've got the entire book and the author himself on my side. And you still have no counter for the ALE or the Omega Sanction. Or even how to kill a singularity.
You want to use powerups, I'll use Darkseid with the power of the Source itself.
