imo, a jobber aura is a writer given ability to make his/her character's opponent(s) routinely lose/humble/stalemate/run away from them regardless of how much more powerful, skilled, intelligent, etc that opponent(s) are to them.
the aura thing is due to the opponent(s) inexplicably acting out of character when in close proximity to, or fighting character X.
for example, juggernaut was jobbed to skaar recently, skaar doesn't yet have a jobber aura though since he is quite new to the scene and barely fought noteworthy characters. squirrel girl on the other hand is a card carrying owner of a jobber aura, you know the list of characters she off-paneled so no explanation needed.
and squirrel girl ownes this thread, she'd off-panel darkied just as easily.

juggernaut's FIRST appearance, his frickin' "this new character is the juggernaut and this is what he can do so listen up kids issue", the guy walked forward in the air when jean grey telekenetically levitated him off the ground to keep him from steamrolling the x-men when they discovered his forward advancements were irresistible.
it'd be the same if some guy superman was fighting said "you can't fly cause you didn't say up, up, and awa ylike you used to do back in the day", and superman agrees with him..... then gets bfr'd.
juggy's falling should have also had irrisistable momentum. unless cytorakk is a nitpicking prick.
